Hailed as ‘Banksy meets Basquiat’ by Vogue’s International Editor Suzy Menkes, Theodore’s bold paintbrush strokes and stripped back skeletal figures have cemented him as one of the leading artists of his generation. Born in Turks and Caicos, Theodore grew up in Miami before moving to New York City aged 17. Collected by a legion of celebrity fans including Adele, Bryan Cranston, Thierry Henry and Salma Hayek, Theodore was chosen to be Google’s virtual reality artist-in-residence in 2016. Not confining his work exclusively to galleries, Theodore has collaborated with PUMA and has also worked with brands such as Moleskine, Moët et Chandon, Rolls Royce, and more. In October 2018, he unveiled his latest exhibition of new works, The Coronation, at Maddox Gallery to much acclaim.
